Music & what it can do

Music will always be a part of my life.
One of my favorite childhood memories is singing with my family - lullabies, family prayer, church, on picnics,  everywhere! We even played music on our stereo while we ate!  Appa loved instrumental music and what we now call "retro" and Amma loved old hymns and choruses. I picked up both their loves and grew up listening to their favorites. As a teenager of course, my tastes moved towards the spice girls and boy bands, but that was short lived. I fell in love with acapella music in college and Ashwin introduced me to classic rock and jazz. The church I attend has me loving contemporary worship.
Music soothes my soul!
I love cooking and cleaning house to music. Almost makes the chores bearable!!

Anyway, I came across this video, and I'm amazed at the power of music. Thought you'd like it too! brought tears to my eyes.
