Me??? Not Me!!!!!!!!!

Remember my previous post where I requested prayer for little Stellan??? Well, the surgical procedure on his little heart was a miraculous success and he is SVT free for the rest of his life!!!!! What an awesome God we have!!!!!!!

So, now that all's well with the Mck Family, and now that our prayers worldwide have been answered, its time once again for some therapy, and here it comes! Feel free to join in the fun. Just head over to Mck Mama's blog and sign yourself up for some 'Not Me' fun!

I am not a lazy girl who hasn't blogged in ages!! No! I do not keep the few faithful readers I have waiting for a blog post.

Don't you know? There are a lot of things a girl like me wouldn't be caught dead doing. Like these for instance:
  • Wear denim capris to work without shaving my legs, and have a student tell me "Ms! My father have same legs like you!"...............YIKES!!
  • Pretend that my baby is having a hard time falling asleep just so I can watch her sleep peacefully AND miss family prayer!!!
  • Wade through murky, smelly, calf deep water (which necessitated wearing capris to work) to get to the car, to get to the van to get to work! hmmpf! I live in a mansion on a mountain and have palanquin bearers to carry me over even the smallest puddle!!!!
  • Borrow something from a colleague and forget to return it even though its been in my bag everyday..... for 2 weeks!!!!
hmm.... there are a LOT of things I would do, but these I certainly wouldn't!!!

Not Me Tuesday

Not Me Monday is a blog carnival hosted by Mck Mamma a wonder woman who's blog I have been following for the past 2 years. It's a fun form of therapy. Read on...

Over the past week, I did not write a post about all the bad stuff that happened to me the previous week, with the main intention of garnering some sympathy. I would never do something as low as that. And even if I did, why would I admit it here??

I did not lose my cool with my 7 month old daughter and yell at her for repeatedly trying to roll over and bite her new diaper when I was diaper changing. I am a very calm and composed woman who believes in quietly but firm discipline.

While out at Sparkys for dinner, I did not try to feed my lil chakakuru mashed potato laden with bad bad butter just to shut her up! And when she refused to eat it, I did not wonder if she were really mine and Paunch's child. And when I saw her make her "pooping face" I did not pull at her diaper right there at our table, in front of our friends, peer in and sniff and gag at the horrendous stench she had generated. I am not that uncouth and my Daughter's poop usually smells of apples, cherries and watermelons!

Hah!! What do you think of me?? I, Scatterbrain am such a classy woman that I could never even think of writing such disgusting things on my blog. It's all my crazy alter-ego's work.

"Not Me" Tuesday!

I've done a '"Not Me" MONDAY' post earlier.... and even though here in India, its Tuesday, I think I need to let off, confess and get a few things out of my system. So here goes. Read the blog of the woman who came up with the whole idea here : Mck Mamma. I'm a HUGE fan of hers and if you read her blog, you'll know why!

OK... Here we go...

Over the past few weeks, I did not lose my wallet at School and go through such agony over it, only to find it the very next day, in a place far, far away from where I swore I had lost it!! The fact is, my wallet decided to go for a walk on its own from the place I thought I lost it to the place I actually lost and found it! Oh, and I would never do something as irresponsible like keeping all my important documents like my PAN card, Debit cards and drivers license in the very same wallet. I am not a scatterbrain as you or my dear husband may think!

Over the last two weeks, I did not miss my ride to school on the van twice!! Even if I did, do you think I would be as crazy as to drive my little scooter all the way (22km) to work? Not Me! And even if I did, I would certainly not wait till evening to tell my husband about it!! Oh no!

What a horrible mom I'd be if I seriously thought about having an external volume control device permanently attached to my daughter's mouth? I wouldn't! And what kind of mother would watch a movie with her little daughter playing with her teether on her lap! Not me! And if the little girl fell asleep on her lap, what kind of mom would continue watching the said movie, without caring to put the sleeping baby in her crib? Not a mom like me for sure!

Aaaaahhh!! That was therapeutic

NOT ME! Monday

Here'a someting refreshingly new for my blog!! Inspired by MCK Mamma's overflowing creative juices, I have decided to give it a try! PLease do go and see the original! MCK Mamma sure knows how to start her week right!

Over the past week, I did not check out my little baby bump every time I passed a mirror or shiney object and I certainly did not get caught doing it a million times by my amused husband! Do you think I would accidently miss a phonecall from my sweet mother in-law and then never call her back? NO!! I would not!!! I did not not notice that my husband had finally got the haircut I was nagging him to get and I did not make up the lame excuse of being dead tired for not not noticing it! I did not hog on cheesy, buttery mashed potatoes so much on Sunday knowing full well that my digestion is screwed thanks to pregnancy and so I did not have a bloated tummy at night and I did not have a sleepless night. I am not facinated with my husband's new phone and I certainly do not want a new one myself! Oh... and speaking of Sunday, I am soooooo not the one responsible for husband and me arriving late at Church, And even if I was the one responsible, didn't I redeem myself by walking in wearing the cutest pink maternity top?

I also did not wake up late this morning and so I did not miss my daily morning shower! And because I did not wake up late, I did not seriously contemplate taking the day off work just because I have a hint of a sore throat! And I do not feel dirty, sticky and irritated now and because of which I did not send 2 silly second graders on time out without enough warning.

Oh.... and this post has not helped me feel better, and I am not laughing at myself now!
