pray pray pray

I have friends who believe in the power of prayer and those who dont. But since I do, with all my heart, I am requesting prayer for a little one year old boy who'se life ai've followed from even before he was born..... Ive never met him nor his parents. Yet, his mother's blog has made me feel like he were my own nephew.

And he's sick....really sick and in need of a major surgery happening today. So please please.... pray for STELLAN. You can go over to his mother's blog to read more on him. She's the woman behind my Not Me Monday posts.

Thank you for praying for Paunch's dad. His surgery went off well. Today is his 3rd post-operative day. Paunch and I got to see him in the ICU yesterday. His pain is much better and his body is making its way slowly down the road to recovery.

Thank you all for caring to pray for him. We are ever grateful!

prayers needed!

Here's something you could do for me. 

Paunch's dad is scheduled to have a bypass surgery of the heart on Monday. Feb 2nd. So, you could pray!

Please pray that

• God gives the doctors wisdom to do everything right
• the surgery is successful
• He will recover quickly
• Mom-in-Law continues to feel peace through out the whole thing.
• He will be a cheerful recoverer

Right now, Dad-in-Law is at his cheerful best except when he has his occasional chest pain.  I am totally in awe of that. He says he's going to get all the cobwebs cleaned out of his heart so he can be fit as a fiddle to play with his first grandson! (ya... for some reason he's sure we're going to have a boy!!) 

ok...I'm going to stop there. Will be back on Monday or Tuesday to let you know how things are!

Orissa cries

There's a lot happening in India at the moment. On one hand, we're thrilled to bits that we won our first individual gold at the olympics, and on the other hand, we're saddened by the floods in Bihar. Most of us don't know what to expect with the Nuclear Deal that's in the works and the recent bombings all over the country.

But of all these what saddens me most is the plight of the Christians in the state of Orissa. Everyday, I hear of news from friends there who are at the mercy of anti-Christian extremist groups. People in power watch helpless as women, children, orphanages, schools and other missions are gutted.

When will we open our eyes and see the truth that we are actually ONE!!!!
