The Grateful Post

We moved! I don't have pictures of our new home, but its beautiful!! About 3 days into moving into our last home, we realized it was a bad choice for us. We were apartment hunting for about 3 years . The beautiful houses (read as apartment/flat   don't know why I still feel like calling it a house) we saw were all above our budget. The ones within our budget were horribly ugly or terribly planned or too small for our family. You see, we live in a relatively "posh" part of our city, very close to the beach. We love our neighborhood and we wanted to continue living here where the streets are tree lined, where the people are friendly and where it is not too far from Nanma's school or my work. Finally, one day, we were shown this house. It was on the same street, within our budget and met most of our requirements.  Ashwin and I literally jumped at the opportunity.

God worked things so beautifully that we got our finances straightened out  in time to cover the costs. Grateful !
We still live in a 2 bedroom flat, but we have more space to move around. Grateful!
The kitchen has enough counter space for my oven to stay up on the counter and not be packed away. Grateful !
Nanma gets to have her own room and that our bedroom has an attached bathroom. Grateful!
The windows can be left open for the cool sea breeze and the bright morning sun to stream through. Grateful!
Ashwin's parents are staying with us for a week to help with the move. His dad is the best handyman to have around. Grateful!
Our best friends live one floor below ours. Our kids are growing up like siblings. Grateful !
We had enough help to move our house, and we managed the entire move within one weekend. Grateful!
We have felt God leading us through all this.  Truly Grateful!
