These words have been resonating in my brain for the last two days.
I know that I don't have much to complain about. My basic human needs are more than just "met". And yet my prayers seem to be filled with more "Please Lord, I want...." than "Thank you, Lord" .
Sometimes, God wants us to be faithful in investing our time, talent, passion and money in what he has already given us. Even if our wants seem justifiable, maybe* God is looking to see if we have been good managers of what he already has blessed us with before he doles out more!
maybe* because that's what I heard regarding one situation. Can't be the same for everyone!
